A Birds-eye View

It's a bird! It's a plane! Nope—it's a drone survey! Join Cerren Richards, Jacqueline Winters, and Eldred Allen of Birdseye Inc. in Rigolet, Nunatsiavut, to conduct bird surveys using drones. Learn how drone surveys can help us understand why seabird populations in Nunatsiavut are changing, and how local knowledge is helping researchers monitor the impact of species like cormorants on native bird populations.
