Roe, roe, roe your boat

Herring eggs —or roe—are a popular delicacy in Japan, and a big business. But herring eggs are also a big part of the Haíɫzaqv way of life. Jordan compares the industrial "sac-roe" fishery with the Haíɫzaqv's sustainable practice of harvesting "roe on kelp".
