Surveying the Saint Lawrence

Catch a birds-eye view of the St. Lawrence River as we join Lexy in the field for a biodiversity survey! River Institute researcher Matt Windle explains how the Fish Identification Nearshore Survey (FINS) project combines aerial drone surveys with water sampling and environmental DNA to paint a more complete picture of the thousands of diverse species that call the St. Lawrence home.
