We have new features and a new look!

We have introduced some new features that we hope you’ll love! We've worked with teachers and students to make the site more user-friendly!

You'll find all the tools you need at Ocean School to get started right away. It’s easier than ever!

Our new search makes it easy to find what you need. You can search by keywords and filter by grade, subject, type of media, and activity time. Our materials are tagged with key concepts and competencies to help you make connections to your curriculum. This is a great way to find the perfect resource and to plan your next lesson!

With our new responsive design, you can enjoy Ocean School on a variety of devices. Watch a 360° video on your phone, or browse a collection on your tablet! Now you can take Ocean School with you on the go.

We’ve added multiple ways to share your favourite resources. Ocean School integrates easily with Microsoft Teams, Google Classroom, and social media!

We believe that quality educational content should be available for everyone! That’s why we’re working to make our website meet the WCAG 2.0 accessibility standard. Over the summer, we're rolling out closed captioning for our videos, described video for viewers with visual impairment, downloadable transcripts for our videos, and screen-reader compatible activities for learners. No matter how you teach or learn, you can always access our content!
