Learning for a Sustainable Future and Water Docs' awesome Water Docs at School (WDaS) program is back on this winter! We’re thrilled to be hosting a virtual student workshop at the Water Docs at School Virtual Youth Forum on January 29, 2024! We’ll welcome groups of youth who are committed to taking climate action, and introduce them to tools that they can use to help protect their local rivers. Learning for a Sustainable Future will provide each group with $500 to support their action projects! Dive into Action: Protecting Our River Ecosystems

Join Ocean School and the River Institute for a workshop all about protecting local waterways! First, we’ll discover how climate change is intensifying the challenges faced by Upper Saint Lawrence River habitats. Next, we’ll unleash your inner environmental champion. Working in pairs, you'll choose an issue close to your heart and select a hands-on project from the toolkit.

This program builds students’ understanding of water and instills in them a commitment to water stewardship.
